1. Bad Cravings
Cravings can be hard to avoid because there is a little voice in the back of your head convincing you to buy those potato chips. It is making you believe that, because you have a taste for that donut, you have to have it. Avoiding cravings use to be impossible for me until I started doing a little trick. Anytime I was around food that was unhealthy or had a sudden craving, I stuck a mint in my mouth. Sometimes I stuck a listerine strip in my mouth or a piece of gum. The reason being, is because mint is strong and it makes everything else taste bad. Think about it, after you brush your teeth and run to the fridge to drink your morning juice, it just kills the flavor. And that same concept can be used when you have a craving. When you crave something, you crave the taste. You don’t crave it for health benefits. Try this if it is hard to control yourself around unhealthy foods to avoid.
