5 Last Minute Halloween Make-Up Looks

Halloween is a week away and procrastination never fails when it comes to deciding on a costume. Some people plan weeks, months in advance for the perfect Halloween costume so they can be the Cinderella of all partygoers, but some of us who are indecisive and prefer to wait until the last possible minute cannot relate to such strategic planning.

An intricate makeup look can almost always make up for a less than stellar costume. All eyes will be on your beautifully crafted makeup for the night as people ooo and ahh over your face. So get your costume makeup and start practicing!

1.) Deer

Admittedly one of my go-to Halloween looks because it’s so simple, deer/fawn makeup is some of the most easiest Halloween makeup you can do, especially if it’s last minute. All you really need is black eyeliner and a white/cream-colored eye pencil to complete the look, depending on whether or not you prefer to wear a full face.

2.) Neon Skull Makeup

The best part about this makeup is that you can achieve this look with drugstore products, as the colorful eyeliner and black base was done using NYX eye makeup products. You can find them on Amazon, at Ulta, and your local drugstore depending on where you live.

3.) Unzipped Skull Makeup

This may look intimidating at first glance but it’s actually very beginner-friendly and isn’t as complicated as it looks, plus practice makes perfect! A simple look like this can be paired with a skeleton body suit that you can find at pretty much any costume store.

3.) Betty Boop

The origin of Betty Boop’s creation has been widely debated on whether or not she was Black, but after doing my research like the diligent writer I am, I’ve come to the conclusion that Betty Boop was definitely partially inspired by a Black woman so why not dress up as her for Halloween?

4.) Glam Goth Makeup

This look in particular is perfect because it’s very versatile. This makeup could go well with a few different costumes like a vampire, witch, or zombie costume, or even a dark, goth character like Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice. You could even do something like a darker twist on Wednesday Addams. The possibilities are endless as long as you think outside of the box!

5.) Pop Art Makeup

If you like to stand out and enjoy playing with loud colors, look no further than this tutorial here. It takes minimal effort to turn out as a piece of art from Roy Lichtenstein. You can be eccentric with this look without having too spend a ton of money and waste too much time.
