3, Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Soft Light Liquid Highlighter
Liquid highlighter is definitely the way to go for spring since it’s all about fresh and natural makeup. If you like a natural highlight that’s not overpowering, then this product will be all you need. The great thing about liquid highlighters is that they’re multi-use products and can mix them in your foundation/moisturizer, use it as eyeshadow, etc. as well.
4. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Perfector ($36)
This skin tint will give you sheer coverage, enough to blur imperfections while still letting your skin look completely natural. It comes in 10 different shades (though there’s still plenty of room for improvement) and its sheerness allows it to adapt to a range of skin tones and easily melt into the skin without creating a mask-like effect. The best part? It also has SPF 25 in it so there’s no need to worry if you forgot to apply your SPF for the day.
5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Glow in “Patina” and “Penny” ($25)
You’re gonna have to set a date on your calendars for this one because they don’t launch until July. What a tease! Patina and Penny are two beautiful golden copper shades of their liquid highlighter that were pretty much for dark skin, as you can see in the glory below. But in the meantime there are 4 other shades to choose from that you can see in our highlighter masterpost.
6. Bobbi Brown All Over Glow ($39)
Being ashy in the springtime is a huge no-no, so Bobbi Brown is here to help everyone step up their glow game with a liquid highlighter made for the body. Because the glow doesn’t just stop at the face.
7. NARS Highlighting Powder ($38)
Not just any kind of highlighting powder, these highlighters will give you the same dewy sheen as a liquid highlighter without the mess and no glittery particles. This formula is a silky smooth powder that completely melts into the skin, helping you avoid that powdery look that most powder highlights can give. These will be available online at Sephora and Ulta on April 1st but are available on the NARS website now.
8. Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Bronzer ($28)
Like blush, bronzer tends to have a bad rep with misconceptions among dark skinned women. Granted, bronzer will definitely not show up on everyone because you can only make bronzer so dark before it looks crazy, since the purpose is to warm up the face and add soft contours. But for those whose skin tone can get away with wearing bronzer, this will definitely help add some glow into your skin while also giving your face more structure.
9. MAC Fix Plus ($26)
The Fix Plus itself isn’t new, at least not the original version. This widely-loved cult favorite has been used as a finisher to help makeup melt into the skin for a more natural finish, prime the skin with hydration, used as a mixing medium for pigments, and much more. This spray is usually used to give makeup a more dewy finish but MAC has recently formulated 3 new versions: a matte, gold, and pink version for a different kind of glow. There is no specific release date on these but rumor has it that they’ll be released in April so keep your eyes peeled!
